This collar was unusable for my needs, even though it had nearly all the features I had been searching so diligently for.
I purchased this collar for my 14 lb Toy Manchester Terrier based on size & features. My dog is small, fine boned, zero body fat, with an extremely short coat. I had searched for nearly a month on multiple online e-stores for a soft leather collar, wider in the center - as is used on greyhound type dogs. I required both a buckle closure and a very fine half check martingale chain.
I opened the heavy package wondering what else was included with the collar - but nothing, just the nylon with heavy curb chain martingale.
Placing that collar on my dog would be akin to animal abuse! I never would have purchased it had I been aware how heavy the collar plus the chain would be. Imagine tying 2 or 3 hand weights around your toddlers waist (well, to be equivalent - their neck!).
This might work fine for a large dog, but not a toy sized dog, even though the size was correct.
Purchase returned for refund, has already been shipped.

As has been my experience, these arrived quickly and are high quality and beautiful.
What a great pattern! It's very straightforward and clearly lists everything you need to make collars. I really appreciate the visuals showing how to do each step with the hardware!
